GENERAL WICK GUIDE - COCO APRICOT CEDA SERICA WAX & 100% Soy Wax

TIP: Coconut-blended waxes exhibit distinct behavior compared to regular soy wax. A complete melt pool may not form until reaching approximately halfway down the jar. Unlike 100% soy, which tends to tunnel due to its "memory," coconut-blended waxes experience less tunneling. Initially, there may be some wax clinging to the sides of the jar, but as the wick burns, the jar's sides heat up, facilitating the melting of the remaining wax. When conducting wick tests, it's crucial to monitor the jar's temperature to ensure it doesn't become excessively hot to the touch. Additionally, watch for any soot formation along the vessel's rim. Ideally, the melt pool temperature should fall within the range of 140 to 160°F.
